Ice cream shoppe in Banner Elk

Pricey for the product. Still good though

Little shop, part of the larger banner elk cafe. Good service, friendly staff. Ice cream was good.

BRING CASH! This shop doesn't have a cash register that accepts cards, thus the employee has to take your card to the shop next door (probably the same ownership). If you are remotely paranoid about your card being in the hands of a stranger out of your sight, than either skip this shop or bring cash. They were out of chocolate flavor and only 5 available flavors. The gentleman working there was very generous on the quantity scoops, more so than most shops.

Decent ice cream; friendly teenager working a summer job served us. Like many ice cream shops, their "single" is ridiculously large and overpriced at $3.75--I requested a TRUE small, so he offered a 'kiddie portion' @ $2. Perfect size, perfect price.

A great place to visit in the summer! I love the icecream options there.
